The tool is setup to precision slice balsa strips and tapers up to 1/8” (3mm) wide from sheets up to 1/8” (3mm) thick. It can be used for

larger slices with adapted methods. The stripper can cut from sheets as wide as 2” using the spacer blocks provided. The micrometers are mounted on an adjustable rail to make the job of cutting tapers simple without calculation. The cutting surface includes a self-healing PVC mat so that the blade is not draw off track by wood grain.

Set includes:

• Main board with PVS mat and rail

• (2) micrometer heads with mounting blocks. Each has a 5mm thumb screw and a square nut to go in the channel. A 5mm x Imm washer spaces the screw properly.

• A blade holder with blade. Left hand blade holders may be available from IFFS.

• Guide bar, %” x 1” aluminum

• (2) spacers to facilitate stock wider than 1”, These are not used for stock less than about 1.1”, but are shown in use in the photo.
